I like the 77/78 nose.Looks aggressive and menacing.Im still wondering what look they were trying to achieve with the 79/81 nose.

I think it was done for a lower, longer look. It's more aerodynamic too. I think it blends very well with the body. It appears most people liked the new look, since they sold more 79 TA's that any other year in history .
