Yes that is correct and same # is on the Title,,and will try those people thanks

and never looked at the motor for #'s just vin and cowl tag

In 1961, Pontiac built a total of 37393 Tempests (7432 Coupes, 22557 4-door Sedans

and 7404 Wagons).

Default How many 61 LeMans were made?

The LeMans appeared as a show car at the end of '61 to positive reviews, and production began. I think all the '61 LeMans were white exterior, two-door "sport coupe" -- pillared hardtop -- bodies with front bucket seats, no convertibles. None of the books I have show production numbers, but two of them have photographs of white coupes. I'd guess any '61 Pontiac with LeMans badging is a pretty rare car.
