Toomanybirds, is correct and the numbers are different then mine which are: MH 7040175
256 2 Good eye on the positioning of the vacuum line because they are opposite from each other. Bob, looks like a killer x-mas gift for Momma to get for you! Lloyd, thanks for the info. I checked mine and it is 1108500 it also has a 3 A and a 6 8. Would one of those be the daye code? Thanks

I did a search for piston number 493159 and nothing comes up is this a correct SD piston? 73 0r 74? Thanks

those are aftermarket pistons along with the glyptol coating (red). stock pistons are radiused on the top edge. you have the correct 2 valve relief pistons though.

This carb is one of the parts I recently picked up. According to the original purchaser(1975) he said it has 8-10K miles on it. What is the best way to clean this without removing the original finish? Is the pump arm supposed to be green? does that get washed off if I use regular carb cleaner Thanks
