Default headliner question

I have searched this forum about headliner installation and have one question, Should I jsut go and have it done at the trim shop? Seems like alot of trouble and I had it done on my GP for one hundred something there. I can get the headliner for $77 but this is going in my wifes 71 Impala, not a show car but I want it nice. Thanks

I've done a few, mostly in Tri-5 Chevys. Those were easy enough.

I don't bother with the ones that require glue. For what a trim shop charges, it's not worth the hassle.

Well I just came fromthe trimshop and he quoted me no more than $300, I just told him to go ahead and order the material. Let someone else tackle it. I will have my hands full with new quarters and getting it ready for spring paint.

I'd rather be hanging quarters all day long over installing a headliner.
