it's amazing that panel can be sold for basically $100 shipped, you have to wonder if it's even remotely close on quality and fit. I'd pay that much or more for just an accurate repro of the Firebird lower valance portion

actually $1200 is sort of cheap compared where these items trade last year. I think I saw 4-5 trade on ebay in the $1750-$2000 range.I know I was offered $2000 for mine before Christmas. And no..."I shouldn't have sold it" which I am sure is the next comment from someones mouth.so amny of our cars have rusted out rears, having a good nos for a restoration just beats tryingto patch it up,or(if one comes available) using some chink stamped piece that will most likely not fit.. I think $1200 was a pretty good deal...
