I have the same generator.I have used it a couple times and loaned it to a friend for the week he was without power.Has worked good for the temp. purpose,but it is noisey.That is the onlything i have to say bad about it.

As has been said all the Chinese ones are about the same. If you are going to get one I do recommend converting it to propane. Today's gas does not store well. If you keep 20-30 gal on hand you need to stabilize it and rotate it out on a regular basis.

A propane conversion is about $189 for the 2 way that lets you run gas or propane. Propane stores forever and is cleaner and quieter. There are ways to make the genny quiet but that is a whole nuther topic Conversions here. http://www.propane-generators.com/
