Actually, I got a call from the driver team this morning, delivery is scheduled tomorrow morning at 10:00. They had mentioned Tuesday to Gary, but I'll bet they got a call for another pickup somewhere along the way.
It is in the town next to you. Transport driver is out doing roadies as I type. He'll be using it to get laid tonight. I think you should be very honored you are giving the gent a great day and night

that is not a laughing matter. it happened to me when i had my 74 4 speed sd delivered to me. the guy didnt show when he was supposed to on a friday. i couldnt get a hold of him all weekend. he shows up and wont let me get in it until i paid him for the delivery and then he rolled it out of the truck without starting it and literally took off immediately. long story short, he spent the weekend thrashing it and busted the original trans, it had rubber covering the rear quarters behind the wheels. the rear tires were shreaded really badly. the shipping company said they were really sorry and felt bad, but i should read the fine print in the contract where they basically had the right to contract with anyone they wanted to haul the car and were not liable for any damage while not in their possession. sometimes it pays to go ahead and go with the big name high dollar carriers.
