I made the wire switch last night and it worked just as advertised. Also my rear lights are on when the parking lights are only on. Love the way it looks at night.

No problem 65Lemans. We're just glad everyone that's tried it likes it so far. Like Charles said to me... "and to think it's taken 43 years to do this and do it the right way. And we did it over the phone in a few hours." It took a little head scratchin and Charles reading his wiring schematics, but hey, the results are what counts.

Jerry H. You can do it by just laying on the floor and unplugging the connector from behind the switch. Thats what I did. No need to remove the whole switch.

Yeah but you have to be a contortionist..... or very young and limber. I tried that and almost broke my neck. Most of us old guys would end up in therapy if we tried it that way. LOL

Well, I don't fit in either catagory and it was rather uncomfortable. The most difficult thing for me recently seems to be my eyesight. I'm reaching that age (45) where I can't see close up without reading glasses. That sucks!

Yeah, it sure does look nice Hurst. And to think, GM/Pontiac had the light switch already set up to do this way back then..... and chickened out on doing it until 1968.
