I'm late in the game but here's my 65 with Rally II's, 225/70/15's and yes they rub on the outside (on the fender skirt mount) in turns in the rear...
![]() ![]() (looks better now that I've shined up the tires!) I'd like to put some 17's and 255 wide tires on if I can manage it. Problem will be rubbing in the front on turns near full lock.

Good looking car! Wish I would have kept my '65 GP.... I like the Rallye wheels better without the trim rings as well.

I'll give it a third without the trim rings. The rallys look best on the 65-69 B bodies.

I posted on here quite a while back. Just thought I'd update what I've done with the caps I was working on---they fit on the slotted "corvette" style wheels I have on my 60 Pontiac. They just seemed to be lacking something before, so I had some additional work done on them-----I think they look much better now. The pics kinda suck--hard to get a good shot with the glare off the polished aluminum.
