Bringing this back to the top -
Our local bookstore/collectibles shop has a cruise every Saturday morning. I stopped by this week and noticed they had this nice 71 GTO model for sale: ![]() On the box, prominently displayed, is this build sheet: ![]() I had to laugh when I saw that big "TAC" on there! K

![]() Have some interesting buildsheets I've found on the net. One has what appears is just the T A and no C. One looks like it has a 'check' or a partial V One of the T A has a printed TAG at the bottom And a blank 1970 sheet

My 70 Judge I'm in the process of restoring had 2 build sheets. I found one under the passenger side carpet, it is in beautiful shape other than stained brown. It has no TAC on it. The second sheet was on the drivers side top of the gas tank, and it has TAC on it. It also has another cars partial build sheet attached to the bottom of it. So, one had TAC, one didn't.

Hi Keith, just to clarify, one was under the carpet sound deadener, not in the the seat. Carpet would be installed on the main assembly line, correct?

My point is still valid, though (build sheets originated from different areas, hence a different operator handling them). K

It would be interesting if others knew where their sheets were located on the car with TAC on them. Most of those posted look like they were in the interior, where mine was on the gas tank (early 70 build Judge).
