Alan, do you know if this car came from Florida? I remember seeing a near identical one on the used car lot of the Pontiac dealership in Ft. Pierce. I caught my eye because I have a 70 Bonneville comvertible I have owned since 1979. Looks to be a real nice big car.

19grandprix64, Thanks. You're right, there aren't too many around that I've seen.
David, Well, what I do know is the car was sold new in Connecticut, and that's about all I know. I do know that it's been in Virginia for at least the last 6 years, because it was sitting in a garage when I found it. I believe it was purchased by the previous owner from either Virginia or very near here. Have no idea of its history after it left Conn. and ended up in Virginia. Maybe it did go to Florida. It's amazing to me the condition of the underneath of the car and the lower body panels and floors for a car that came from Connecticut. It's just nice and dry everywhere underneath, even under the skirts and rear wheelwells. Wherever it spent its life, it had to be stored indoors and not driven in any bad weather. It is a nice car. It drives really well for it's size, and it's a nice color combo. Alan |
