What does a set of NOS SD rods go for these days? Are these as good as the aftermarkets that are available. I'm just about to start rebuilding my original 455(250HP) and I'm looking to buy parts. I am going to have SD heads on my motor and expect the HP to be 450+, it is also going to have a roller cam. Thanks

They are expensive depending on what batch they came from. Not worth the money when there are Eagles, PPR, etc. available much cheaper. They are just as strong, less expensive, and readily available. If you were restoring an SD engine that would be one thing. Plus, you are not making dangerous HP that requires a killer rod.
