very sad, i read on another forum the driver died later that night, car hit a tree before it hit the pole, they think something in the front suspension broke

When you think of it this type of thing was the real problem with these cars. Back in the day every week the newspapers were full of stories of kids killing themselves in these kind of High powered cars.

As much as we love them they did have their flaws and this was a biggy; Too much power for the chassis when in the wrong hands and these cars attracted just those wrong hands.

Sad for the driver and his family.

A G8 GXP along with new Challengers with the Hemi, new Camaros with the V8 and others have even more horsepower than cars of the lates 60s/early 70s. So this can happen today. No need to blame old cars.

Indeed, but the driver would have fared much better in one of the new machines.

Glad to hear the driver of the Judge survived and is on his way to recovery.

That's a shame, if true.
Anyone gets anything from this car they'll have to get if from the insurance company I'd think.
