I run 255/60/15 on a 15x8 .........but that's a repop wheel.........

Wow... Goodyear Eagle VR Gatorbacks. The good old days... when you could get serious performance rubber in a 15 inch size. They haven't been available for awhile...

The factory tire on a '70- '72 TA was an F60 x 15 (7" wide wheel). The closest metric equivalent to that would be a 235/60x15. See Tire Rack link below:
