..So what is the RIGHT SIZE tire for the 70-72 's..??

I run 255/60/15 on a 15x8 .........but that's a repop wheel.........

Here are some pictures of a friend's 70 Formula. He is running 255/60/15's on 15x8 rims.

Wow... Goodyear Eagle VR Gatorbacks. The good old days... when you could get serious performance rubber in a 15 inch size. They haven't been available for awhile...

Nice looking Formula.

The factory tire on a '70- '72 TA was an F60 x 15 (7" wide wheel). The closest metric equivalent to that would be a 235/60x15. See Tire Rack link below:
