Well, I have not worked on the car at all this week. I did buy a few parts. I got an M&H A/C under dash extension harness off e-bay for $31.15 shipped. I also picked up some wiper transmission assemblies for $43.32 shipped. Then, Friday, I went to the swap meet in Moultrie and dropped $592.00 at the PY trailer. I bought some parts I need including weather stripping, rubber bumper kit, convertible screw kit, headlight bucket mounting hardware, headlight bezel mounting hardware and the chrome vent window sashes.
And, I bought something that I don't need right now but I just couldn't pass them up, the grill surrounds. I worked on my bodymans house for three days last week. He had major problems with the foundation due to water leaks. Another crew shored up the wood sills with new piers and replaced the rotted exterior sills. My buddy and I took up 800 sq.ft. of 3/4" oak flooring that was less than two years old. Then we took up the subfloor and scabbed new joists onto the existing ones to strenghten and level the floor. After that we took out the back door, two double and one triple window units and replaced them with new units. All total we worked almost 40 hrs in three days. And, we had a 162 mile round trip each day. But I have got some time in the bank that will go toward getting my car painted. To update the numbers I will add the two hours labor from a few weeks ago. My Labor @ 382 hours.........$7,640.00 Parts ...............................$7,811.34 Outside Labor....................$6,221.00 Gifts...................................$716.52 Total.............................$22,388.86

Well, with work and the holidays I didn't get anything done to the car. I did go through the new parts and held them where they are supposed to go. I wish I were farther along so I could actually install them.
I also went through everything and made a list of what I need right now. I mostly need some of the weatherstripping and the rear lamp harness. Hopefully, Santa will have me on the good list this year. It looks like I will have some down time between the end of next week and who knows when. We will finish up a couple of jobs this week and that is all we have. Maybe something will come up. I am going back to my bodyman's house tomorrow to finish that job. My doors are ready so I will bring them home. I brought the fenders home last week. Then, when I get my vent window weatherstripping I will be able to put all the glass back in. I am getting there, slowly but surely.

I ordered some parts for the doors to put them back together but, I need to order some more. I bought the stainless steel beltline moldings and am pleased with the finish on them. I won't know about the fit until I get them installed.
I also bought the inner fender plastic nuts from NAPA. While they are not "correct" I think they will work. I am going tp post a few questions in a seperate thread. When, I get the answers I will be able to order what I need. Here are the latest totals. My labor @ 382 hrs............$7,640.00 Parts...............................$7,940.24 Outside labor $6,221.00 Gifts ...............................$_716.52 Total.............................$22,517.76

I have a problem. It's a good one though. My wife asked me for a list of things I want for Christmas. So, I gave her one! Now, I can't order anything until I see what I get from Santa.
So, I am at a standstill. I have looked for anything I can do and there isn't that much. I still have some pieces that need cleaning and some that need buffing. Other than that there is nothing to do until after Christmas.

Well, my owner hasn't given me a break this week. Christmas shopping, baking, decorating and house cleaning has taken up most of my free time.
I will get something done after Christmas even if it's wrong. So Y'all have a very Merry Christmas and I'll check in next Sunday.

Well, I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. I know I did!
I said in an earlier post that I had to wait and see what parts I would get from the list I gave my wife. Man, she got me everything on the list! I got the GTO grill emblem, door and vent window weatherstrip, convertible frame seals, power top switch with the bezel and the rear lamp harness. And, my in-laws gave me some money to buy more parts with. I knew I had been good last year but I didn't know I was that good! Now, if the weather will give me a break I can get something done. I will update figures next week. Y'all have a Happy New Year.
