Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, or Eagles Canyon? I bet Jimmy Johnson was testing for the upcoming 24 hours of Daytona race. The Gainsco team with the red #99 Daytona Prototype that he runs with every year for the 24 hour race have the shop next door to mine in Lewisville!

Matt,

Answer from my business partner below.

Lynn

Hello Lynn,
The track is at Cresson, about 12 miles from my house. Try http://www.motorsportranch.com Go to the site, and look at the Gallery/Media tab, then click on Streaming Video, then click on the 1.7 mile track counter clockwise. The car is turning laps within one or two seconds of what my Corvette turns, about 1 min 27 seconds. The site is pretty descriptive, and as you can see there are some pretty good cars. If you come out you can use my membership to get on the track on most Friday/Saturday and Sundays, with an orientation from myself or another club member. You can get lessons for only 60.00 per hour, from the club pro....you can even get instructions from Johnny Rutherford. Fridays are very lightly attended and generally work out well for new drivers. I have rented the open wheel cars, which is also pretty neat!!
Hope you can make it sometime soon.

Dale

It's great to see your progress Lynn. This is for sure a major undertaking to say the least. The the question begs to be answered. Are the two versions of heads that you are designing slated for a street vs. strip designation?
