Found a shot of an Arnie car taken at the Winternationals this year:

Don't know if this is a clone or the real one that was restored several years ago. Nonetheless, putting modern rims on it with modern looking slicks kills the whole effort. Nothing worse than someone building a "period correct" cackle car and then half-assing it with modern rims/rubber.

I agree. It's like going to the nostalgia drags and seeing a 68 Camaro with 14x32's, tubbed out, about 2" off the ground, modern pro stock scoop (same car that runs every Sunday). Not too nostalgic to me!

Wait a minute here, is the driver of the Grumpy's Toy Camaro Drag car smoking a cigar while staging ?

I've seen old images from very old Nascar days in which the driver is having a smoke in the pits but I've never seen anything like this?
