It's as much my fault as his, I should have bought tarps for them...I didn't, I should have insisted it went indoors and out of the field...but I didn't.

Yes he should have covered it up and not stuck it out to rot in the elements after sandblasting it and putting it in etch primer...but it's no use complaining about it now...what's done is done.

I spoke with the guys over there last night and the cars are still there, they are going to take a few new photos and email them to me...so we shall see how far gone there are.

They never stopped me taking the cars away and there is no question of outstanding storage bills...it's my own fault for not dealing with it sooner.

Looking back now I don't know why I didn't do anything about it years ago...I could have pulled them out of there, found storage or got someone to restore them for me over a couple of years...but I didn't! I guess it was easier not to think about them as they were thousands of miles away quietly rotting away.

Hopefully now though I can get the cars out of there and either deal with or parted out and then find myself another 65 Bonneville to drive.
