"The JW coded 4 3/4 bolt pattern rally II's were introduced on '70 1/2 T/A's & were followed by KN's & KR's being used beginning on '71 T/A's. KN's, & soon after KR's, became optional on '71 GTO's beginning in late Jan of '71. Your wheel is unusual as a KR stamped from 1970?

it seems every time we think we can put a stake in the ground on date code rules for some part someone pops up with an exception to that rule :-)

Here is a 12 29 70 KR:
