I don't know about that. Your build date is 04B, the subframe date should be closer to it. Checking for the hidden partial VIN stamp might not be a bad idea.

I speak with the lawyer again tomorrow. I forgot to ask if I should start taking it apart and checking for that stuff. It's already a breach of contract and the seller will have to buy ther car back if he wants to go to trial.

BUT, say it is a rebody and the VIN on the firewall is different. Then what? I'm sure the seller will go to jail and I'll be awarded damages and my money back, but what about the car? Does it go to the crusher?
