I have a 3.23 posi from a 65 Olds Starfire drum to drum (but housing is very rusty) that I'm asking $400 for. Your 3.42 gear will go right on this carrier.

racer81x has gotten me taken care of i believe thank you anyway the starfire rear is a midsize like lemans rear end isnt it? if it is it wont work anyway

No, the 425-powered 88 & 98 Oldsmobiles used the Pontiac 12-bolt (10 bolt cover) rear from 65-67. After 67 Olds made their own rear axles.
