how used are they? Need to think about that one. 3.07 to 3.23 doesn't seem like a big enough difference.

You can get 3.42 gears from any 73-91 Suburban or full size Blazer with the 1/2 axle which is the corporate 8.5 rear.

I'll have a complete posi rear for sale with 3.73 gears shortly, ready to bolt in. I'm about 2.5 hrs north of you. I am at 2650 rpm at approx. 60 mph.

I wont' want the full rear end. I just want the gears. I guess if you would be interested we could trade gears and that way you will have a complete rear end still for sale. and how soon is shortly? I need to have my car up and running no later the middle of june. I am leaving then. Moving to Illinois.

It wont be easier that way I dont think...having the gears in will save someone the $150-$200 it will cost to have a set of gears installed. I shouldnt have a problem selling it as a unit when the time comes. It will probably be the first week of June.
