I had no idea they built Trans Ams at the Pontiac Plant. You learn something new everyday.

Beautiful survivor car. I love these unmessed with originals.

Another one I'd be happy to swap my car for!

Default Mecum

The 73 was a nice car and all there, but needed some freshening up to brig much higher $$. Don't get me wrong it is a nice car and the new owner bought it real well.

The 4 sp TA was real nice and was freshly restored. By far it was the best presented second gen at the auction. However the owner was never around for questions and it did not have the original trans which probably detracted from going higher. But I had heard that the reserve was off the charts so it would not sell anyway. A 73 4sp Cameo White black interior is my dream SD. It was VERY cool!!!

Now while everyone was oogling over the high dollar stuff, there was a base 73 firebird that went across the blocks with 62 miles on the odometer (Yes I stuck my head in ad looked... it was 62 miles). Everything was original including the tires. even had the fuzzy air intake hose.
