A little work on the heads and the right cam and you are there. Awesome, at least I got someting good out of my project. Everything else on the car was rusted and damaged beyond repair. I'm going to talk to a machine shop this week that is supposed to have experience with Pontiac motors. I'd like to stay local if possible, but there's not that much choice in Reno. If I don't like what I hear, I may have to check out shops in Sacramento.

If you don't already have it, I would recommend Jim Hand's book 'How to Build Max-Performance Pontiac V-8s'. It is the best out there.

I bought it almost a year ago and have read through it a few times already. The more info I can get, the better. Thanks
