This intake with a flat top should be close to the stock height. I will publish numbers as soon as I can.

He was referring to the lack of bolt holes to mount the intake to the heads.

Thanks Tom and others
So these obviously dont use a Std RAV bolt pattern for the intake then as there looks to be no material in the flange for an outboard bolt at either end ?? Hmmmmmm........ This picture of the head shows what looks like additional bolts as well as the outboard factory locations Maybe this is how the TR intake bolts up using these and not the outer factory location

All these intakes will have the stock Pontiac bolt pattern. We are doing the front water neck cross over separately since all our RA-Vs will have reverse cooling. We will also have the ability to use regular flow cooling. More pictures soon.
I took the intake to BES and Tony likes it! We are starting to finish up the first RA-V crate motor in the next couple of weeks.

Separate water crossover I am OK with and having a "short flange" outboard of the front runners. From what I have seen with stock RAV intakes 3 of the holes are above the lines of the port with the two outboard ones slightly lower From the tunnel ram pics it looks like there is no flange in that location. Hence my query about the two extra "non Pontiac" holes lower toward the deck inboard of the outer runners ? These must be redundent or for some other purpose as they arnt in the "stock location" Possibly for a future blower mainifold ?? I would have thought that the TR would have required a longer flange at the rear to pick up the rear factory bolt location (This would typicaly be the same offset from the outer runner at the front to allow heads to be swapped from side to side) Hopefully I am missing some thing simple here

The mounting holes aren't cast-in, so with enough meat in the head, they can be drilled and tapped anywhere you want them...just a matter of changing the program on the machine.
