Hi Guys.
Just got my boxed rear control arms for my '69 GTO conv (Repro GM) and was wondering why they do not make a Left and a Right, as they both have bushings inserted from the right side to the left so the bushings do not rest at the same place on frame and diff on both arms (one side rests on the smaller rubber end while the other rests on the larger steel sleeve)...I haven't driven the car yet to see if it makes a difference but just wondering. If you have any pics of yours installed, I'd appreciate it to compare. Thanx in advance...

The arms can be switched around though, right? The bushings are in the same place on each side of the arm?

Yes, Codyyy, the bushings are in the same place, but arms cannot be swapped around as sway bar holes are not centered on arms...

Oh, alright. I'd imagine there wouldn't be a difference what the orientation is of the bushings, but I'm guessing. I'm currently trying to box the lower arms on my '68, I don't know if I'll run with these or just build some better arms as I forgot to put braces in them, however I don't even know if those would be needed.

Same here, 6869GTO...I had bought a complete set from GM dealer that had it in stock (a friend gave me the lead)...Bought both control arms plus sway bar and bolts for a whopping $105 back in 1986...
