Default Pet peeves

Trans Am splitters on '64-'65 GTO's. Consoles with a tach and a vacuum guage mounted on them. Stainless trim around pedals on cars without power brakes. Spare tires mounted in trunk upside down. Spatter painted trunks on '64 GTO's. Humps on '64,'65, and '66 valve covers reversed. Negative battery cables bolted to the front of the cylinder head. Magazine features that include a nice interior shot, but nobody took the time to center the steering wheel. Based on the number of errors I see in some of the major suppliers catalogs, it is not surprising that many people wind up with incorrect stuff on their cars by taking it on faith that the catalog must be right.
