Default 3 Things I love

With regard to my '71 GTO:
1. Owned it since it was new
2. Original everything, especially the paint
3. 106,000 miles/never a major repair

After losing our 68 Firebird back in Dec. I wasn't sure if I'd ever love another Pontiac the same way. Well, we had our accident Dec. 12th 2009, right around that EXACT same time, the original of our 67 LeMans passed away at the age of 83. We were told that his love for the car was unquestionable. In Jan 2010 the family put the LeMans on Ebay. This is how we found and bought our new old Pontiac.

Between ins. repair money and the money from parting out our ole Bird, we had more than enough to make the purchase of this flawless LeMans. So here are my top three things I love about our car:

1) We are "HONORED" to own her
2) It's nicer than anything we ever hoped to own
3) It's a Pontiac!!!

Wow, I had a 71 GTO as my first car in 76. Not brand new but close. I still remember the smell inside as awesome. Then starting the engine, and feel of the torque with my first burnout! You still have yours and I bet your memories are huge!

Love to hear some details and see pix...

The last one: My car's honey do list is waaay too long for me to love it right now. but, it'll get there.
