Mine had them too, wouldn't have ordered them, but wouldn't take them off either.

Thanks James. I did get the rear axle installed along with the springs. Those springs are what I referred to in my last post that helped with the sagging rear. The 3.23s did make quite a difference, and it's really nice to have posi now. I really wish I had picked up one of those shakers from you when I was there. I wanted to get one cut out for my 78; I figured I would've been able to find a decent one already cut out by now. I hate to cut a nice unopened shaker but if I don't find a cut one soon, I may end up buying a good one to open up.

Thanks. I'm torn on what to do when I repaint this car. It's currently original paint with the exception of the nose and front valance. It still looks good but it is getting time to think about a repaint. I really wanted blue and love the looks of the cars in the blue threads we've been seeing. However, when I look at the pics like I just took, it's hard not to keep it the original color.
