Rear left of center as per Old Goat's pic. IMHO, the metro seal was bulkier than original and hard to manage. Bigger isn't always better...

True but it might seal better with the Metro seal. Mine needs replacing as it has let water into the trunk.

Charles (Old Goat 67) - Thank you for posting that above link showing all those great pics of the 67 Conv. Survivor! There are a million restored (most incorrectly) GTO's out there, but not many untouched/slightly touched Factory Original Survivors for all of us to enjoy! Great reference for all! Regards, Chris.

Chris, I look at it this way with info Charles has on 67s..... "If he doesn't have it, you don't need it." Just a finger of speech, but mostly true. I know he doesn't have all the info but he sure is close to having it all. LOL

Also check the shelf under the lettering...mine had pinholes; that spot is a water trap! Figured out that was where the water entered my trunk.
