Hello this is my first post so I'm hoping I am posting in the right part. I have a 68 LeMans and want to convert the taillights to Gto one's however i know the lenses will not fit and am wondering what all will be involved in changing them over. Thank you in advance for all your help.

nh68gto ,aka Dominick ,modified a set of Lemans /tempest housings to fit the GTO taillight lenses. Not sure how,

The gto lenses will fit in the lemans buckets. Only issue is the lenses will not sit as deep in the buckets. Simply pull off old ones sit gto ones in, and use a small drill bit to drill correct hole location. Use some foam weather strip for cushion and mount em.
No one has ever commented on the lights and will same you a good $300+ for the buckets plus the time to take off the bumper and such. I will be doing mine with GTO buckets in the future. I still need a bumper so, did not want to do all this twice (like I seem to do everything else). Or follow the above is right on.
