I bought the car from Lehmers Oldsmobile in Concord in 1986 for $1800. The car was sold to someone in the bay area in the mid '90's. The car had buckets console and a SB400.

I traded the Monte to my dad in about '88 for the '59.... wish I still had that.

yep... dark green interior. The car had A/C a tilt wheel and idiot lights. It came from the factory with 15x6 rallys and no trim rings.... I added the rings. I installed one of the green digital Pioneer Supertuner III's in the dash.

IIRC, the 15X6s were Corvette-only. Are you sure they weren't 15X7??

I thought it was odd at the time too... but I am 100% positive as 15x6 was clearly stamped on the wheels. Prior to me getting the car... the wheels never had a ring on them. In hidsight.... I probably should've gotten the codes off them.... Bt it was the '80's and I was 18.

G'Day Mates,

Sorry if this is a repost.
If you have 20mins to spare and are a fan of drag racing, some really cool pics in this slide show.

Here is a neat little blown/injected Tempest powered digger

Bang! This is why they have trans blankets or sfi cases.

I just pushed one of these around today with my '66 GTO
