The shop that does mine can set up his machine so that he can put the weights right up high just below the center section. I have no weights on the outside. I use the stainless bolt in valve stems

I had the same problem with mine. Center was wobbling when spun up, causing the balance to change. We now have a stud balancer, uses stud holes to mount rather than center. I did mine myself.
