Another thing I didn't mention is that gasoline will wash down into the crankcase diluting the oil. I read one report of camshaft damage. This could obviously be a major problem.

This is from the high psi pump leaking, that's one sign that the dealer knows what the problem is.

Red face defects in fleet vehicles!!!

my company bought around 240 of the new caravans 3 years ago. My unit and 170ish
of the rest of our company fleet all had the high pressure ac line fail and leak freon charge.
most of units happened around 50,000 miles. after some corporate screaming by our home
office, they warrantied all units and even upgraded the units that were still func. regardless of mileage.

new line was redisigned longer to not stress comp fitting.

If you are a fleet buyer you have a large and loud voice.

Go high in the food chain, and say fine if you don't cover repairs then you won't
be quoting on our next fleet purchase!!!
