Here's a nice looking 66 but the engine doesn't look right to me, unless.... he put 67 valve covers on it, and it is a 389 with an Eldebrock intake and carb. Shifter on the column and buckets. No ralley gauges but tach is on the hood and clock is in the dash. No closeup of the cowl tag. At least he says it's not perfect.

It is a nice looking car...all GTO's are IMO. Not to be critical but rather an arm chair critiquer, I would have liked to see rally gauges instead of the hood tach in a 66. Also, I know I stand alone but I'm just not a fan of the Grant steering wheel for some reason. I prefer the "wood" Sport wheel on these.
Still, it has some nice upgrades and will be a fun car for someone...

What gets me is he states a "complete restoration" 4 years ago. I don't know about anyone else, but if I had a complete resto 4 years ago and my interior looked like this, I'd be ticked! Wouldn't you think a complete resto would include the interior? Might be petty on my part but I would be a bit more careful with my wording when listing a car like this for sale.
And Fred, I am with you on the Grant wheels. I just don't get why it is so many classic car owners use them.

Had a grant wood classic wheel in Olds i had.
1 I loved that wheel is comfortable to hang to 2 is a good size Thought about one for the GTO but got a tilt column 3 it looked right for the car and got many compliments on it put a satin clear finish on it Agree on interior looks dirty and old. I P trim is wrinkled on right side at bend. and i wonder why radio is missing if not available he should say so Not sure on the black scoop bezel looks okay, paint and outside body look solid.

I too like my Grant wood wheel. Comfortable and something you can hang on to, more so that the stock or factory wood wheels. Especially when you don't have power steering.
