What's the canister on the ps inner fender?

Looks like a dryer for an aftermarket AC system that was added to the car. You can see the hose from a condenser coming up from the core support area, not a factory AC car.

It's an aftermarket engine heater that gets spliced into a heater hose.

interesting, I've never seen a heater like that before. Just curious what you think that hose is going to at the core support with that right angle fitting on it

There's some kind of brass 90 on the top of it (thanks for the still btw). At first I kind of thought it might be an engine oil accumulator. Still not sure what it is, weird.

Doesn't really look to be anything in line in a heater hose with those threaded fittings.

The hose at LL looks like A/C but what runs to that can?

Dryer is the best guess I have at this point too.

Hearing it was a Canadian car, engine heater was the first thing that popped into my head. At closer look at the still I don't see any fittings on lower end of tank and what I thought was an electrical cord looks like a streak of rust. No idea now.
