What booster are you using? I don't think a Chevy booster will work and that is probably what your issue is if you are using that.
Just from looking at the cars in the yard when I went to get my distribution block, the boosters for the '67 and up cars are the same on A and B body. All much larger than ours. Best bet is the '68 Catalina Bonneville MC & your existing booster.
