you will probally get more help in the 82-02 firebird/trans am tech forum than you will in the race section, since most who post in the race section are traditional pontiac power only.



for what its worth, id would at least replace the simple stuff, the oil pan gasket,valve cover gasket, probally new water pump and thrmostat too, maybee even the rear seal just for the sake of doing it. id have a look in the pan make sure theres nothing inside screaming out for further inspection
