Default 69 GTO Convertible 'Five'

Walked into my favorite BBQ restaurant tonight and the owner flagged me down. He hosts cruise ins and car shows during the summer months and is familiar with my GTO. He said he was talking with a customer of his about a car that they owned and he thought that I might now if the story about it was BS or not. First off he said he thought that they had said it was a 67 or maybe a 69 GTO convertible 'Five' or something like that. They told him they had bought it a few years ago from an older gentleman in Florida who had owned a Pontiac dealership in the 60's. They told him they had done some checking on it and it was one of about 16 or so ever built.

The owner of the BBQ restaurant is fairly knowledgeable and he thought the story was BS so he ask me if I had ever heard of a 69 GTO 'Five'. I asked him if by any chance they could have said 'Ram Air Five' and he said, "Yes, that's exactly what they said".

They're supposed to have paperwork on they car. I explained to him that supposedly none were ever built on the assembly line, but possibly it could have been dealer installed. He is supposed to set up a meeting with the owners within the next few weeks. According to him, they've already been told what it might be worth, but I'm just interested to see if they have a 'true' car, i.e. one that has some paperwork that says it has a dealer installed Ram Air V, and if it still has that engine.
