Congrats on finding the problem, sounds like this should take care of things.
Is the timing gear solid nylon, or nylon coated metal and are they (the new replacements) all still like that? Also, when a chain develops slack (as per this situation), is this because the chain actually mechanically stretches, because the tensioner goes out of adjustment, because the gear wears, or all of the above? |

NO Nylon to be found anywhere, old or new !
time (pun) will tell if this infact actually is the major issue. Damned rain ! Andy |
