Thanks for the response, Steve. I suspect that the 60 ft is largely a result of the gear and tires, it was practically impossible to get a clean launch.

I've got the heads off now, and whatever I do to the car after it's back together I want to make the right head selection now so that I don't have to take them off again any time soon.

Has anyone tried the new d-port e-heads? They look interesting.
