when you carry wheel chocks in your trunk for when you park on an incline, and just don't trust the parking brake and "PARK" option delete on '61-'62. (maybe it's just a San Francisco thing) and even your own parents warn you about taking corners too fast in these cars because of someone they knew had one/had accident/story of incident/etc. ( yeah , think we're a tad younger gen then the rest of you.) No offense, just clariification of last comment.

No its a Tempest thing, I have done it too and I know another member from PA who keeps them on the floor behind the drivers seat.
