Greeting cards! Now that brings back some memories too. Sold a blue million of them myself.

Anyone remember the old balsa wood gliders, with the wind-up rubber band motors and wire landing gear with plastic wheels? Rat Finks? How bout those pictures or cards - maybe they were stickers, but they had big blown engines in cars with oversized wheels with a monster looking cartoon character shifting gears with a giant shifter way above his head? What were those things called?

Oh man, I forgot about those stickers, had not thought about them for years! I had a ton of them stuck to the door to my bedroom back in the day! I cant recall what the Rat Fink stickers were called, or how they came, maybe they were sold like baseball cards.

What about Wacky Packages? Similar to the Rat Fink stickers, but parodies of products, see the attached. Had a ton of those too...

I remember those..never would have known what they were called. Never would have thought of them if you hadn't posted that. The ones I had were not stickers though, they were cardboard. I just looked at some online and they're still funny!
I even found one specific one that I remember having.... Breadcrust Corned Beef Hash....lol

We must be about the same age..............

I bought one of those wind up gliders not long ago for my boys. The rubber band was cheaper then it was in the 60's.

Those stickers were called, "Odd Rods", "Odder Odd Rods", "Silly Cycles" and a few series came out later, but the Odd Rods were the first. I still have all of mine in plastic sheets that baseball cards normally go in. I had them in a box in the attic until one day I realized that I should get them out. They came in a pack with 3 in a pack I believe and a thin sleeve of gum I think. I never chewed the gum--just collected the cards. Here is their site: http://www.oddrods.com/
