I have no problems with clones. I dont own one but I could easily clone mine since it already came with a gto hood on it. I won't! If its your car build it the way you want it to be. If i see a clone hey good for you! I Am happy somebody is putting a lot of effort into these cars to make them what they should be and that is to be driven or shown off. Who cares if it's a gto or a lemans! All of them no matter what they are are not around anymore and the hobby is tough each year to keep going cause of money, economy, etc. I'd say enjoy what you got and build it how you want it. No matter what your badges say or what type of motor you got!

i agree 100% in todays economy why should you be denied the car you've dreamed of driving. if i can drive a car that no one gets to see because they only made 8 of them,then there getting an opportunity to see a real replica of a rare car, whats wrong with that as long as you dont try to pass it off as a real one.my cloned 69 t/a draws a crowd at all the cruises and shows and im asked all the typical questions duh! is it real, yup, just dusted it off today to come here ha! point is lifes short have fun , burn rubber

My Judge is pretty clapped out looking, and/but/so it never got the attention that my clapped out Carousel Red convertible '69 LeMans got. What woman looks at an old car painted faded Bubble gum yellow with a wing on it? I wasn't looking for one. I just happened to find it while looking for engines & parts and it was a great price because the guy was moving.
Now if I put LEXUS emblems on it, females might be interested.
