Yeah, those new pics look a lot rougher than the ad pics! I think I would pass on that one. There is another '66 Bonnie wagon cruising around town here. I knew the last owner, don't know who's got it now or if they'd sell. A lot better shape than that one.


A little note- these '60's full size wagons are awesome! They make people smile wherever you go. If you get one, you'll have more people coming up to you and talking than with any other car you could drive! I'm always amazed at the reactions my '69 Bonnie wagon gets every time I drive it.
Yesterday I took my 12 year old son and a team mate up to a football scrimmage about an hour away by interstate. My daughter and the other boy's sister (both 10) rode along. They got a kick out of waving to everyone from the 3rd seat as they went past. We were "only" cruising around 65-70 so lots of cars passed us. Nearly everyone was smiling, waving, giving thumbs up, honking, even hanging out the windows to shout "cool car!".
Everyone from teens to old folks smiling as they went past- try to get that reaction from your Mercedes SUV.
