Not only that, we have seen members with references to these fights as well as links to Club House threads in their signatures. We can't have the PY membership abusing the privilege of using the Club House for their entertainment by spreading their Club House nonsense onto the regular forums. We will remove your posts from the regular forums and may even issue you a formal warning, leading up to the revoking of your posting privileges here on PY. We don't moderate the Club House but we will moderate any Club House fights, references or stalking we might see out on the other forums. Im guessing it sounded good for lyrics, but not accuracy ?

[QUOTE=455Grandville;4399393]We have noticed a trend here, members who participate in the Club House bringing their petty little fights onto the regular forums.

I wouldn't exactly call the questioner a "car guy," but once when I was filling up my Grandville at the local gas station, a ricer driver about 19 was looking at the car and asked me "old dude, did they like stretch that car like a limousine?"
I just smiled.

Don't feel bad mine has been called an "aircraft carrier" by a Hyundai sales idiot.

Are Tow truck operators’ car people?
The dumb f@#% tow truck operator that came to pick up the goat yesterday to take her BACK to the body shop (so they can re-paint the cowl the proper black instead of the Lucerne blue they painted it, and hang the doors) shows up and backs into the driveway and gets out, I opened the garage to reveal the GTO all shiny and half way built with no response from the Bozo. He stood there and watched me struggle to push the car out of the garage while steering at the same time. I inched the car to the edge of the tilted bed and he swings these huge metal hooks onto the flatbed like a sack of potatoes. I explained to him that we didn’t want any scratches on the finishes we have worked so hard to achieve. He says, "I don’t got nothing to protect it." So I run into the garage to get some rags or something, I come back out and he already has both hooks on the front lower control arms, I make him undue them and insert rags which must have pissed him off, he winched it onto the flatbed and he throws the rear hook around the rear axle housing almost smashing the new in-line tube brake line, stuffs the chain into the bed hole and pulls the winch tight, stretching the car from a$$ hole to elbows. Then, without looking, he levels out the bed and stuffs the top of the car into the pine tree he was parked next to and jumps into his truck. I run to the driver’s window and let him know the car is in the tree and to carefully pull out to the left, he gives me a dirty look and blasts down the driveway while my 19 year old daughter was grabbing at branches to keep them off the new paint. My daughter and I jump into my car and proceed to follow him the whole way to the body shop. The way this guy drove with our baby on the back of flatbed, you would have thought he had a 1976 Pinto on there. What an ass-hat! I was fuming when we got to the body shop and I let my body shop guy know how I felt about the whole situation and how lucky they all were that there was no damage. (They arranged this ass-hat) How can you not be pissed off in this kind of situation?

is a goat and chicken farmer real people?
the answer to both those questions are yes of course they are but the problem lies in having the body shop supply the towing company as they use the lowest priced company they can find so they can usually bump up the towing charges and make a dollar on that also. there are low end towers just like there are low ends in every business. if a cut rate price is achieved,,along with it comes a cut rate knowledge of the occupation its just common sense,,,you get what you pay for |
