After seeing the marketing for the 70 WT7 with 4/5 promos. 51 built out of ? the Polar White Judges.
15 built in 71 on the Cameo Judges seems to be poor in marketing as much as the decline of Judge in 71. Still I think it was expected to be a bigger hit by Pontiac as box 60 made it easier than in 70. It make one wonder if the exec driven cars were part of the marketing? (Wishful thinking that maybe an exec will come on board and tell some stories.) Oh well, it is still a mystery option made a little clearer in this thread, and rare which makes it very cool. 1BD will has a nice restored WT7 car, and many will never know much about it at shows. 71JudgeFan (great name) will be a great source of info, and his car is not restored so maybe still holds some build sheets??

Welcome, Brendon!
![]() A 71 Judge is a rare car let alone being a WT7. Pics are mandatory I believe around here.

For a while, almost 2 out 3 Ram IV Judge projects popping up were White. And a lotta White Ram III's are known. I think people went in to get one just like the pix they had seen, ordered a White one assuming thats what they'd get. Just Theory. But i think it boils down to lack of sales personnel being on the cutting edge of the razor (as in not so sharp). I don't have complete articles on them. But i don't think anything was ever said to the tune - - order your White Judge today and ask your salesman about the special no extra cost WT7 appearance package as shown here. Any way though, i do think it generated a lot of White Judge sales in 70. |

If it didn't sell before it should sure as hell sell now - but I would keep it or send it to one of the auctions - you're wasting time with it on e-Bay!

Thanks Boss,, The call outs where black before, After WT-7 option was found, I questioned what color the wing callout would be on a black wing, All this led to BVZ working harder on connecting the dots to come up with red call outs. As PER "R" on the build sheet. Looks different, I love it. As far as doing better on Ebay , I am not going to try that again, I was looking for exposer and got it along with alot of important and usfull info that will follow the car now wherever it goes. and as far as the car doing better, I dont know, I guess thats all up to what colors someone likes. After all its the same car with a black wing and different decals. But I'm glad Its "as born", Thats been my mission all along.

I think it was because it got him involved with all of us super deluxe PY people. ![]() Or maybe it was the consequential further depth of knowledge gained about the car. One of those .... And he likes it even so much better now with its new-found appearance. I've never followed along the 71's all this much before. They have always been such seldom occurences. 71JudgeFan (Brendon) spotting it on eBay was its saving grace. Its brought me more in tune with 71 Judges, and its been good all around. Those are some really neat sheets, Mike. ![]() Thanks for sharing them all with us. Last edited by Baron Von Zeppelin; 09-17-2011 at 02:35 PM. |
