I bought one of those wind up gliders not long ago for my boys. The rubber band was cheaper then it was in the 60's.
Those stickers were called, "Odd Rods", "Odder Odd Rods", "Silly Cycles" and a few series came out later, but the Odd Rods were the first. I still have all of mine in plastic sheets that baseball cards normally go in. I had them in a box in the attic until one day I realized that I should get them out. They came in a pack with 3 in a pack I believe and a thin sleeve of gum I think. I never chewed the gum--just collected the cards. Here is their site:
