The Chrysler Ghia was the only car I didn't recognize right off the bat, but I admit, I have a passion for these 50's concept cars. They all seem so weird, so "Jetsons", back in a time when style was first, practicality and economy were second. Boy, how times have changed in America...
I definitely think Mercury (and Lincoln) stole the rear window sliding glass, which I believe came out in 1958 on those big Mercury Turnpike models. I think since Packard was on their last legs, the Detroit Big 3 figured they could steal whatever they wanted from Packard. Packard used to be one the finest cars in America, up there with Cadillac, but post-WWII years were not kind to them. Packard was also a key player in helping us win WWII. This is a weird one.....1962 Studebaker concept car!
