I only eat this this unhealthy stuff once a month or less but Wendy's is the only one I prefer, my son's prefer Mc D's, it's cheaper but it's crap. Someone said the new Sea Salt Wendy's fries are no good?...you crazy?! I can now eat them without loads of Ketchup & salt for flavor, I now eat them plain.
They are also buttering the buns, yes the burgers are better, all the changes are for the better, if you want poor quality and cheap prices go to the big M.

I went to Marco Island, Fla about 15 yrs ago on a golf trip. While I was there I called a Dave Thomas who I thought was an AMOCO dealer from Maryland who owns a place there. Dave Thomas from Wendy's answered the phone. He was a great guy and we had a nice conversation. Didn't he have a '55 or '56 Pontiac convertable. Jon

To some of us,the answer to any possible dissatisfaction with our food is'nt to just throw more salt on whatever it is that we're eating.

Total sodium content for the new Wendy's fries is up 43%.

Truth is there's already too much salt on most all our processed foods.

And for those of us who already have HBP,,,that's probably not a positive thing...

And for sure coating our fries with unnecessary chemicals (sodium acid pyrophosphate) & added sugar (dextrose) is'nt the answer either.

The new Wendy's fries also have more calories and fat than the original fries had too, more everything (Carbs & Protein) to be honest.

They may be "natural cut",but they're not "all natural" either.

In closing I'll add this,we hear testimonials of people saying that they can taste more "potato" in the new fries,I say that's mostly BS,those eaters minds are responding to the added salt and nothing more,if it were more potato flavor that a given persons mind were reacting to,we would likely want absolutely zero salt or such on our fries,as that option would give us the greatest amount of potato flavor right, but nobody really wants that, now do they?

Me,I tend to prefer less salt on my food than the average person does, things like potato chips and corn chips and nuts & such all taste significantly better to me when they come with less salt on them as SOP,specific varieties like Lays & Ruffles reduced salt potato chips and Fritos reduced salt corn chips all taste waaayyy better to me than their regular fully salted variety chips do.

To me,salt just buries the true flavor of whatever food it is that you are eating.

FWIW
